As I searched the words melodrama and melodramatic many results came up, but the one thing that intrigued me the most was melodrama/melodramatic films. As someone who loves watching movies/films in general I looked to see if there was any recent films that are considered melodramas. After reading the definition of what a melodrama is I found that The Fault In Our Stars is a perfect example. The movie The Fault In Our Stars is considered a melodrama because the movie clearly exaggerates the characters and definitely appeals to emotions.
